The Ada Community Library Board of Trustees held its monthly board meeting on Tuesday, August 23, 2023. Board members present were Melodie Huttash, Carol Mills, Mary Anne Saunders, Steven Ricks, and Sandy Taylor. Staff members present were Mary DeWalt, Mary Allington, Alex Hartman, Anna Langrill, Monika Pomper, Jamie Thill and John Thill.

CM called the meeting to order at 5:05 pm. - CONSENT AGENDA
- Changes or additions to the agenda.
- The minutes of Tuesday, July 18 2023 were presented.
- The Financial reports for July were presented.
SR moved to accept the consent agenda, MAS seconded, the motion carried.

The board briefly discussed public written correspondence presented by MD - QUARTERLY REPORTS

- Revision of Unattended Children Policy
The board discussed policy edits and this will be made a future action item. - Pilot of community engagement YouTube site
The board discussed surveys and videos for the site

The next monthly meeting will be held at the Lake Hazel Branch on September 19, 2023 at 8:30am. SR moved to adjourn the meeting, ST seconded, the motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 6:04pm. - BUDGET HEARING FOR THE PROPOSED FY2024 BUDGET IS CALLED TO ORDER
CM called the meeting to order at 6:04 pm.
SR moved to approve the FY24 budget, MAS seconded, the motion carried.
SR moved to adjourn the meeting, ST seconded, the meeting was adjourned at 6:06 pm
