ADA COMMUNITY LIBRARY
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The Ada Community Library Board of Trustees held its monthly board meeting on April 19, 2022. Board members present were Carol Mills, Steven Ricks, and Deana Lowry. Staff members present were Mary DeWalt, Anna Langrill, and Martha Beller.
I. MONTHLY MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES IS CALLED TO ORDER.
CM called the meeting to order at 4:24pm.
II. CONSENT AGENDA
A. Changes or additions to the agenda.
B. The minutes of the March monthly meeting were presented.
C. The Financial statements for March were presented.
SR moved to accept the consent agenda, DL seconded, the motion carried.
III. DIRECTOR’S REPORT, PUBLIC WRITTEN CORRESPONDENCE
The board briefly discussed the report.
IV. QUARTERLY REPORTS
The board reviewed the reports
V. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
A. Collection Development Policy update [Action Item] SR moved to approve the
draft presented with the changes made in the meeting, DL seconded, the motion
carried.
B. Non-Resident fee increase to $75/$25 senior
This is the first public notice for the proposed increase.
VI. NEW BUSINESS
A. Boise Annexation reimbursement [Action Item]
SR moved to accept the annual contract, CM seconded, the motion carried.
VII. DATE OF NEXT MEETING AND ADJOURNMENT
The next monthly meeting will be held at the Hidden Springs Branch on May 17, 2022 at 4:15pm. DL moved to adjourn the meeting, SR seconded, the meeting adjourned at 5:07pm.
