BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The Ada Community Library Board of Trustees held its monthly board meeting on January 21, 2025. Carol Mills, Sandy Taylor, Steven Ricks, and Mary Anne Saunders were board members present. Staff members present were Mary DeWalt, Mary Allington, Anna Langrill, Monika Pomper, and John Thill.

CM called the meeting to order at 8:33 am. - CONSENT AGENDA
- Changes or additions to the agenda.
- The minutes of monthly board meeting of Tuesday, December 17, 2024 were presented.
- The financial reports for December were presented.
MAS moved to accept the consent agenda, SR seconded, the motion carried.

The board briefly discussed information and written correspondence presented by MD. - QUARTERLY REPORTS
- Discussion of circulation and library usage from the previous quarter.
- UNFINISHED BUSINESS
- Hidden Springs expansion
The expansion construction is complete and occupancy permit due any day. Plans for a sneak peek with supportive stakeholders, finishing touches, and soft opening by mid-Feb. - Star expansion
The Star Community Alliance board reports an LOI is in place and feasibility activities underway. - Trustee Zones
The resolution is under consideration with the Commissioners.

- Annual Report
MD presented the annual report submitted to the State (and Federal IMLS). The report indicated significant growth in programming and mild growth in library visits, reference transactions, and circulation. Discussion ensued on strategies for growth in these areas.

The next monthly board meeting will be held at the Lake Hazel Branch on February 18, 2025 at 8:30am.
