JANUARY BOARD MEETING
ADA COMMUNITY LIBRARY
BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Ada Community Library Board of Trustees held its monthly board meeting on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Board members present were Carol Mills, Reba Bell, Steven Ricks, and Amy Fife. Staff members present were Mary DeWalt, Anna Langrill, Mary Allington, and Julie Rice.

1. 1. MONTHLY MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES IS CALLED TO ORDER.
      Carol Mills called the meeting to order at 8:30 am.
   2. CONSENT AGENDA
      1. The minutes of the November monthly meeting were presented. 
         
      2. The Financial statements for November and December were presented.
         SR moved to accept the consent agenda, RB seconded, the motion carried.
         
   3. DIRECTOR’S REPORT, PUBLIC WRITTEN CORRESPONDENCE 
   4. QUARTERLY REPORTS
      Discussion of first quarter FY23 reports.
   5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
      1. Patron Rights and Responsibilities Policy review.
         One revision was made to the policy. RM motioned to accept, SR seconded. Motion carried.
   6. NEW BUSINESS
      1. Review of Audited Financials.
         Auditor report was reviewed. SR motioned to accept, RB seconded, motion carried.
      2. Insurance Renewal.
         Board was apprised of a change to the health insurance benefit.
      3. Discussion of Idaho Code.
   7. DATE OF NEXT MEETING AND ADJOURNMENT
      The next monthly meeting will be held at the Lake Hazel Branch on February 21, 2023 at 8:30am.   SR moved to adjourn the meeting, RB seconded, the motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 9:20 am.
