FEBRUARY BOARD MEETING
ADA COMMUNITY LIBRARY
BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Ada Community Library Board of Trustees held its monthly board meeting on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Board members present were Carol Mills, Reba Bell, Steven Ricks, Sandy Taylor, and Amy Fife. Staff members present were Mary DeWalt, Anna Langrill, Mary Allington, and Julie Rice.

1. 1. MONTHLY MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES IS CALLED TO ORDER.
      Carol Mills called the meeting to order at 8:32 am.
   2. CONSENT AGENDA
      1. The minutes of the January monthly meeting were presented. 
         
      2. The Financial statements for January were presented.
         SR moved to accept the consent agenda, RB seconded, the motion carried.
         
   3. DIRECTOR’S REPORT, PUBLIC WRITTEN CORRESPONDENCE 
   4. QUARTERLY REPORTS
      N/A
   5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
      1. Selecting and Discarding Materials Policy update
         One revision was made to the policy. RB motioned to accept, SR seconded. Motion carried.
   6. NEW BUSINESS
      1. Annual Report to the State – statistics presentation.
         The FY22 annual report was reviewed
      2. Facilities and Capital Improvement Grant CM motioned to submit LOI, ST seconded, motion carried.
      3. Legislative Update
   7. DATE OF NEXT MEETING AND ADJOURNMENT
      The next monthly meeting will be held at the Lake Hazel Branch on March 21, 2023 at 8:30am.   ST moved to adjourn the meeting, AF seconded, the motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 9:40 am.
