ADA COMMUNITY LIBRARY
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The Ada Community Library Board of Trustees held its monthly meeting on April 15, 2025. Carol Mills, Sandy Taylor, Steven Ricks, and Mary Anne Saunders were board members present. Staff members present were Mary DeWalt, Anna Langrill, Alex Hartman, Mary Allington, John Thill and Jennifer Nelson.

CM called the meeting to order at 8:32 am. - CONSENT AGENDA
- Changes to the agenda.
- Approval of the Minutes of Tuesday, March 18, 2025
- Approval of the March Financial Reports
SR motion to approve, ST seconded. The motion carried.
- DIRECTOR’S REPORT, PUBLIC WRITTEN CORRESPONDENCE
The board briefly discussed information presented in the report. There was no public correspondence. - QUARTERLY REPORTS
- Discussion of some statistical areas and reasons for changes
- UNFINISHED BUSINESS
- Star expansion
Numbers should be available soon, discussion about viability.

- Interim Trustee appointment
Discussion was followed by a written, then vocal, vote on a trustee to fill the remainder of Melodie Huttash’s term (the rest of this meeting and the May meeting.)
Suzette Moore was appointed with a three to one margin. - New development adjacent to District
Discussion about how best to serve residents of areas that are adjacent to the District but not currently in the district. Options will be researched and discussed further. - InterLibrary Loan (ILL) changes and policy update
Discussion of the changes to policy, primarily focusing on a change of vendor.
SR motioned to approve the changes, MAS seconded. The motion passed.

The next monthly Board meeting will be held at the Star Branch on May 20, 2025 at 8:30am.
