APRIL BOARD MEETING
ADA COMMUNITY LIBRARY
BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Ada Community Library Board of Trustees held its monthly board meeting on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. Board members present were Carol Mills, Reba Bell, Steven Ricks, Sandy Taylor and Amy Fife. Staff members present were Mary DeWalt, Alex Hartman, Mary Allington, Jennifer Huizinga, and Anna Langrill.

    1. MONTHLY MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES IS CALLED TO ORDER.
      Carol Mills called the meeting to order at 8:31 am.
    2. CONSENT AGENDA
      1. The minutes of the March monthly meeting were presented. 
      2. The Financial statements for March were presented.
        SR moved to accept the consent agenda, RB seconded, the motion carried.
    3. DIRECTOR’S REPORT, PUBLIC WRITTEN CORRESPONDENCE 
    4. QUARTERLY REPORTS
      The board briefly discussed the quarterly reports. Everyone was pleased to see increases in usage and circulation.
    5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
      1. N/A
    6. NEW BUSINESS
      1. The BPL Lending Service/Annexation Compensation Agreement was approved.
      2. The annual budget hearing date was set for Tuesday, August 22nd, 2023 at 6:00PM.
    7. EXECUTIVE SESSIONThe board moved into executive session at 8:41 am to discuss real property matters.
    8. DATE OF NEXT MEETING AND ADJOURNMENT
      The board returned from executive session at 9:04 am. The next monthly meeting will be held at the Victory Branch on May 16, 2023 at 8:30am.   ST moved to adjourn the meeting, CM seconded, the motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 9:06 am.
