Titanic: The Long Night

Full Review

Yet another tale of the Titanic disaster. The surprisingly short timeline only intensifies the journeys of Elizabeth, Max, Katie, Paddy, and Brian. All are optimistic when the voyage begins, not worried in the least. That quickly changes four days into the trip to New York when the "unsinkable" begins to sink. Hoh sheds a new light on the unimaginable emotions of the evening with hope, love, and a touch of heartbreak. Her focus on the terrible loss of primarily steerage passengers all around heightens the readers' realization of just how terrible the loss was. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a truly heartfelt read.
